Kelley Villaseñor

Founder and Managing Partner
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, at The University of Texas at Austin
Experience: Kelley has over 15 years experience in the medical billing and practice management field. Kelley began her career in San Antonio and ultimately opened her own successful medical billing firm in 2001. Kelley has in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the billing process in many different specialties and disciplines. She believes in a very hands-on and personal approach when it comes to the daily operations of her client’s revenue cycle management. Through her extensive experience in the field, she has developed practice management strategies to maximize collections and reimbursement while decreasing aging accounts receivable.
Kelley graduated with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She was an active member of Gamma Beta Phi, a honors service organization, where she helped serve the UT and Austin Community.

Personal: Kelley is a devoted wife and mother of three children. She enjoys running and has volunteered on various PTA boards and committees over the past 13 years.

Michelle Romero

Managing Partner
Education: Bachelor of Business Administration, St. Mary’s University
Experience: She has over 15 years experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, Michelle served in various roles during her 13 year tenure with a start-up and ultimately successful private investment management firm where she was a partner. In her roles as Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer, Director of Equity Research, and Portfolio Manager, she developed her leadership skills, financial knowledge, and entrepreneurial understanding. Early in her career, Michelle also served as Assistant Vice President with Frost Bank in the investment and trust banking department. Michelle began her career very early on in the medical industry having graduated from Health Careers High School in San Antonio, Texas, and working as an in-house billing and medical office associate for a group practice.
Michelle graduated Cum Laude from St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree; double majoring in Finance and Financial Services/Risk Management. She was selected for membership in Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society for collegiate schools of business, in recognition of her high scholastic achievement.
In her spare time, Michelle stays involved with the community by volunteering her time with programs that focus on helping and developing women, children, and families. Michelle currently serves on the Board of Directors for Alpha Home, a non-profit treatment center providing gender specific services to chemically dependent women and men. She also founded and serves as an advisor to the UTSA Professional Businesswomen Society, a student-run organization that encourages young females to pursue careers in business.

Personal: Michelle has three children, Eric, James, and Ashley. She is an avid sports and music fan.

Marcia Christian

Revenue Cycle Manager
Education: B.A., Texas State University

Experience: Marcia has been an integral part of our Texas-based team since 2013, overseeing several of PPS’s largest client accounts. She brings a solid background in insurance and revenue management, gained from her prior work at a large multi-specialty practice in Austin. In addition to her management role, Marcia works closely with Kelley on the consulting team, contributing to practice analysis, auditing, revenue cycle management, and process improvement projects. She also has extensive experience supporting mental health practices, including psychiatry, counseling and neuropsychological testing. Her leadership and expertise consistently help clients streamline operations and maximize revenue.

Personal: Marcia enjoys hiking, gardening, concerts, and spending time with her three sons.

Magdalena (Elena) Lopez

Medical Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist
Education: Certificate in Medical Billing and Coding, Prince George’s Community College in Maryland

Experience: Elena has over a decade of hands-on experience in a variety of roles within medical practices. Since joining PPS in 2022, she has delivered strong billing support while bringing warmth and professionalism to our client relationships. She is also a key contributor to our internal collection team, ensuring timely follow-up and recovery.

Personal: She is a proud spouse of a retired member of the United States Air Force and values both service and her community given her husband’s 23 years of service to our country. In her spare time, she enjoys walking and hiking, and spending time with her two sons.

Brandy Goden

Medical Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist- PT Department
Education: Pursued studies in Fine Arts before transitioning to medical administration

Experience: Brandy has worked in physical therapy billing and administration for more than 10 years. She joined PPS in 2021 and is known for her proactive communication with clients and deep expertise in PT claim processing.

Personal: Brandy is passionate about the performing arts and loves every aspect of it.

Julie Gard

Medical Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist- PT Department
Education: Attended College of St. Catherine/St. Mary’s Campus

Experience: Julie has been a valued member of PPS for over a decade, with deep expertise in mental health billing. Her background in hospital billing and transcription in Minnesota enhances her ability to navigate complex claims and compliance requirements. Julie develops strong, trusted working relationships with our mental health clients, serving as a dependable resource for their billing needs. She is proud to be part of our client-focused service team.

Personal: Julie enjoys spending time with her family and friends and traveling across the United States on road trips to watch her daughter compete in gymnastics meets where she is a Division 1 athlete.

Alyssa Faz

Relationship Manager and Surgical Billing Specialist Lead
Education: B.S., University of Houston

Experience: Alyssa joined PPS in 2021 and focuses on orthopedic surgical billing. With over a decade in the hospitality sector, she brings a service-first mindset that helps our clients refine processes and grow revenue. She is a strong advocate for personalized client support.

Personal: Loves road trips and home renovations with her husband and two daughters.

Ashley Romero

Revenue Posting and Reconciliation Specialist
Education: B.B.A., Texas Tech University

Experience: Ashley interned at PPS before joining full-time in 2024. She ensures precise payment posting and reconciliation for our clients and also contributes to internal accounting functions. Ashley serves as a dependable resource who keeps revenue cycles and financial processes moving smoothly.

Personal: Enjoys fitness, concerts, and spending time outdoors.

Paula Conley

Team Leader & Medical Billing Specialist
Experience: Paula joined PPS in 2019 and leads one of our largest internal teams. With 20+ years in billing, office management, authorizations, and marketing, she is a knowledgeable, client-focused leader who thrives on developing practices. Her work reflects PPS’s deep expertise.

Personal: Dedicated to her special needs son, enjoys time with her husband and 6 grandchildren, and is an avid football fan.

Melissa Muskivitch

Orthopedic Billing Specialist
Education: B.A., University of Texas at San Antonio

Experience: Melissa joined PPS in 2019 and leads billing for one of our largest orthopedic clients. She handles both orthopedic and HOPD (Hospital Outpatient Department) billing, ensuring detailed attention to claim accuracy and reimbursement success. She previously worked in disability services, education, and youth advocacy, and brings her holistic perspective to every client engagement.

Personal: Enjoys Pilates, traveling, and family time.

Tracy Hack

Medical Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist – DME and ASC Departments
Education: Certified in Medical Billing and Coding, New Horizons Learning Center (2008)

Experience: Tracy joined PPS in 2022 and brings nearly 20 years of billing experience across pediatrics, orthopedics, DME, and more. Her professionalism, strong client support, and timely communication, provides issue resolutions for our clients.

Personal: Loves trail walking and family activities.

Jerrie Randle

Medical Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist
Education: A.A.S., Health Information Technology
Certifications: Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), AHIMA

Experience: Jerrie has over 20 years of experience across specialties like gastroenterology, transplant care, and regenerative orthopedics. She currently handles both primary care and orthopedic billing for PPS clients. Since joining PPS in 2021, she has been a key part of our hands-on revenue cycle team.

Personal: Enjoys mountain hiking and time with her dogs.

Chelsie Bettis

Medical Billing Specialist
Experience: Chelsie has worked with PPS since 2021, supporting orthopedic clients and internal operations across HR and finance. She specializes in orthopedic billing and brings small business leadership experience and a personalized approach to each client’s interaction.

Personal: A proud mom of three boys who loves supporting their sports activities.

Ashley Ramirez

Revenue Posting and Reconciliation Specialist
Education: B.S., University of Texas at San Antonio; M.S., Recreation Therapy, Texas State University

Experience: Ashley manages financial transactions for one of PPS’s largest clients. With nearly 20 years in the medical industry, she brings empathy and precision to her work. Her presenceenhances team collaboration and client trust. She also supports accounting-related processes for the company.

Personal: Enjoys quality time with friends and family.

Olivia Villaseñor

Business Development and Marketing Associate
Education: B.S. University of Texas at San Antonio – Cum Laude

Experience: Olivia rejoined PPS in 2025 after earlier work with the team in 2019–2020. Her professional background includes gym management, CrossFit coaching, hospitality, and scheduling coordination. She recently interned with Rescue CPR where she worked on marketing and business operations.

Personal: Olivia is a former CrossFit Games athlete who enjoys helping others meet their fitness goals and fostering community wellness.
